Product Overview

The Q61H-A105 American standard three piece forged steel ball valve is forged, with a soft sealing ring embedded in the steel ring. The steel seat is also machined with a sealing surface, and both the radial and back surfaces of the steel seat are equipped with “O” rings to ensure no medium leakage. The valve stem adopts a bottom-loading design, and a thrust bearing is provided at the shoulder to reduce the operating torque. The material has a much higher density than that of cast steel, making it particularly suitable for the manufacturing and processing of high-pressure ball valves. The high-pressure forged steel ball valve is a type of ball valve that achieves opening and closing by rotating the ball around the centerline of the valve body. The sealing component is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat, and a spring is provided at the end of the metal valve seat. When the sealing surface is worn or burned, the spring pushes the valve seat and the ball to form a metal seal. It features a unique automatic pressure relief function. When the pressure of the medium in the valve cavity exceeds the pre-tensioning force of the spring, the valve seat at the outlet end retracts and disengages from the ball, achieving automatic pressure relief. After pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets. It is suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, and also for media with harsh working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. It is widely used in various industries.

Performance Characteristics

The fluid resistance is small. Among all types of valves, ball valves have the smallest fluid resistance. Even for reduced-bore ball valves, their fluid resistance is also quite small.
The switch is quick and convenient. As long as the valve stem is turned 90°, the ball valve completes the full-open or full-close action, making it easy to achieve rapid opening and closing.
