Q611F-16P Pneumatic Internal Thread High Platform Two Piece Ball Valve

The DQ641F-40P/C cryogenic pneumatic ball valve features a forged stainless steel or duplex steel body, a DIB-2 dual-seal seat, and an overpressure relief system. Designed for use in storage, transportation, and handling systems for media such as ethylene, LNG, and liquid oxygen at -196°C, it ensures reliable sealing and safe operation in cryogenic conditions.

Product Description

Product Overview

DQ641F-40P/C Type Double acting pneumatic stainless steel floating ultra-low temperature forged steel ball valve, using 304/316 stainless steel or duplex steel material forged valve body, multiple sealing and DIB-2 valve seat combination design, floating ball structure, overpressure relief system and other innovative technologies, extending the distance between the valve stem and valve cover, isolating the valve stem seal from the influence of low temperature. Valves suitable for opening and closing ultra-low temperature medium transportation systems such as ethylene, liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants, oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, carbon dioxide low-temperature storage tanks and tank trucks, natural gas LPG02LNG storage tanks, air separation equipment, and petrochemical tail gas separation equipment at -196 ℃.

Performance Characteristics

  • The long neck valve cover structure isolates the packing box from the low-temperature position, ensuring the sealing effect of the packing and making it easier to wrap the insulation material. It has the function of protecting the packing box and preventing the loss of cold energy of the low-temperature valve.
  • The gasket used for low-temperature ball valves has reliable sealing and recovery properties at room temperature, low temperature state, and temperature changes.
  • When the operating temperature is below -100 ℃, the valve stem material is treated with chrome plating or nitriding to increase the surface hardness of the valve stem and improve the reliability of the packing seal.
  • The low-temperature ball valve is designed with a structure to prevent abnormal pressure rise. A pressure relief valve is installed at the inlet end of the valve, which can effectively prevent the pressure in the valve chamber from rising and ensure the safe use of the valve.
  • When used in working conditions below -100 ℃, valve parts should undergo cryogenic treatment before precision machining, which involves immersing the parts in a liquid nitrogen tank for cooling.
