Product Overview

The Q41F Three piece American standard round forged steel ball valve is primarily used on pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the direction of medium flow. Its large pivot structure ensures accurate ball center positioning under high pressure, guaranteeing good operational performance of the valve; the standard valve seat adopts a spring structure, which pushes the valve seat towards the ball, ensuring good bidirectional sealing performance at the inlet and outlet; with the built-in drain valve, the valve body cavity can be drained externally; the pivot adopts a blowout-proof protective structure, effectively preventing leakage; and the low friction coefficient of the bearing reduces torque to a minimum, facilitating valve opening and closing.

Performance Characteristics

When the stagnant pressure in the valve cavity exceeds the pre-tensioning force of the spring, the valve seat retreats and disengages from the ball, achieving an automatic pressure relief effect. After pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets.
In the event of a fire or abnormal temperature rise causing the valve seat sealing ring to burn or soften, the spherical part of the support ring and the ball will come into metal-to-metal contact under the action of spring and medium pressure, achieving a temporary sealing effect and preventing the fire from spreading further.
The gland section of the packing is sealed using a dual sealing system consisting of PTFE packing and an O-ring seal, which is particularly suitable for gaseous media. The packing is housed in a packing disc and can be equipped with a new type of SF self-lubricating sliding bushing with low friction coefficient to reduce operating torque.
